Prior Kain offers fully integrated geotemporal systems supporting the manipulation of space-time attributes associated with data and events. These systems are capable of the analysis and visualisation of high volumes of data and information to find out who did what, when and where. We use a combination of capability partners and open-source software solutions against open standards to offer analysis on a variety of devices (PC, browser, PDAs, etc), across a range of networking capabilities and in the context of the enterprise and user role and task. A key emerging capability in this area is the use of geosocial services and Prior Kain is already experienced in the use of such services to deliver 'on-the-ground' responder interaction with enterprise level geotemporal systems.

A cornerstone of information exploitation capabilities is ontology-driven language processing. Commercial ontology management and language processing systems are high-cost complex systems that utilise proprietary, non-human readable formats to maintain ontologies and language processing directives. Although open source libraries for similar functionality exist and do utilise human readable formats, these are provided without operator interfaces or wider frameworks for end-to-end system provision.
Prior Kain, building on the scientific advances in a leading open-source toolkit, is developing a user-friendly interface framework into which disparate and highly-complex ontology and language processing functionality may be integrated. Using service-oriented techniques, Prior Kain will deliver this framework to clients who either have existing investments in ontology and language processing capabilities, who have a requirement to use one or other of the existing commercial applications, or who require a cost-effective entry strategy into this technology domain.
Prior Kain intends that this framework be used to demystify a key information exploitation component, removing the requirement for specialist software or linguistic knowledge and consequently reducing costs and increasing usability.
